Rev. Brent Corbin came to serve as the Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) Campus Minister at the University of Tulsa in the summer of 2010. Brent was born and raised in Duncan, OK and thoroughly enjoyed the small town life. After college (University of Oklahoma, BBA-Finance, 2003), he worked in commercial banking for a time, then left Oklahoma and moved to Nashville, TN where he began an internship with RUF for 2 years at Vanderbilt University. While at Vanderbilt, he met (his future wife) Sarah, who was then in graduate school for Physical Therapy at Belmont University. After they were married in May 2006, Brent and Sarah moved to Charlotte, NC where Brent attended seminary (Reformed Theological Seminary,MA Divinity, 2010) and Sarah worked as a physical therapist. Brent and Sarah are the proud parents of 4 girls - Nora Kline, Katherine, Mary Dreher, and Margaret Charles.
In the spare time that Brent dreams of having, he enjoys playing golf, skiing, reading, building stuff, working on the house and in the yard.
Joey Kime was both born and raised in Orlando, FL where he also earned a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Central Florida. During his college years, Joey also fully discovered his passions for all things recreational, coffee and Chipotle. Joey will be returning in 2017-2018 for a 3rd year as an intern with RUF Tulsa.
Bethany Ekdom grew up in Allen, Texas and graduated with a degree in School Health from Texas A&M University (whoop!). Riding horses, rock climbing, going to concerts, and watching and making movies are a few things she enjoys. Since her freshman year at RUF, Bethany has always seen the RUF internship as a total dream job, and after growing so much through the four years of community and teaching it provided, she is thrilled to have the ability to continue being a part of this ministry as an intern.
